“Dear Bob,I just powered through your book. It was a great read and great work! Your various interactions with Black and White give you credibility. I loved the dinner party comparisons! I especially resonated with your thoughts about brotherhood. I would like to reuse those thoughts with the athletes that I support who do not fully understand the sacrifices they must make for each other to win as a team.My other favorite stories were The Project, Race Competition, The Great Reveal, Man in the Crowd, and The Hammer (I saw 715! AFCS, Aisle 114, Row 30). “Caste” by Isabel Wilkerson is so spot on. ”
“I just finished and really enjoyed your courageous, thought provoking book. I think I mentioned before that your “Chicken Soup Like” style made for an easy read. I enjoy short stories/executive summaries (short sermons too).😊 I mentioned courageous because of your openness in speaking to the many challenges of this world and not shying away from calling out the injustices. I can’t say that I have ever personally associated with a Caucasian brother/sister who has publicly expressed their views and opinions on injustices in the way you have in your book. Your lighter stories about life were relatable and enjoyable, too. As they say, despite our race, religion and backgrounds, we have more in common than we realize. ”
